Dear Mazapan School Alumni:
The enthusiasm, good will and energy of the wonderful group of graduates who have undertaken the enormous project of organizing the first Mazapan School Homecoming, is contagious. So I must say that I have the bug, too! The thought of seeing you together at once is truly heartwarming.
The amount of details is mind-boggling, and the discussions often go on longer than they should, (but it is so much fun!) off on a tangent reminiscing about the “baleadas” from the “caseta”, the guy that sold green mangos at the gate (con sal, pimienta, cominos y amebas), beautiful, warm balmy, breezy days with a brilliantly blue sky and not a cloud in sight, perfect for daydreaming instead of listening to the teacher drone on and on… and even the old tin policeman that stood warning everyone to slow down… so when we get to remembering, it takes a little longer to reach consensus. Nevertheless, that superior work ethic that was preached to you every day kicks in and we manage to firm up some important information which you will find at the end of this note.
Here is the Online Invitation for more details
Con mucho cariño,
Mrs. Counsil
Mazapan School Superintendent
