Mazapan Weekly May 28th

Dear Mazapan Family! - Message from Superintendent Querida Familia Mazapan! - Mensaje de la Superintendente   Dear Mazapan Family, Congratulations on the successful completion of the 2020-2021 school year!  I would like to take this opportunity to say “thank you” to each of our parents for your support and collaboration during this school year! Never did we imagine that we  Each of our students have grown as learners, and demonstrated determination, resilience, and a positive spirit throughout this year.  Looking back, this year has shown us once again that a successful school is not defined by its facilities, programs, or even the confines of the classroom walls, but the success lies in the people!  I am incredibly proud of our teachers who have maintained a “whatever it takes” mindset in maintaining the quality of learning that you have come to know and expect. I am grateful for our parents who have served as partners in their child’s learning process and provided us with the opportunity to come into your homes each day! I am grateful for our school’s leaders who have taken every curve ball thrown our way and found ways to guide our teaching and learning process to remain focused on what’s best for our kids, regardless of the circumstances.  Of course, I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge our incredible students who remained committed, found new ways to engage with one another, and embraced the opportunities provided through virtual learning! The triangle of success has never been stronger, as we have seen a connection between home, school, and students like never before!   Over the years, I have treasured the relationships I have made with each of your families and from the bottom of my heart, I could not be more grateful for your support and for the trust that you have given us with your most treasured thing in life- your children!  It has been the honor of my life to have been a part of and to have led the Mazapan family over these last 8 years. I know that each of our students will go on to leave their mark on this world!   Thank you, once again, and I wish you all the best! May you all remain safe, healthy, blessed, and joyful!
