This program pairs early elementary children with high school students to improve reading and math skills, develop positive relationships, and foster a love of books and lifelong learning. Each early elementary child in the program will be matched with a high school student who will act as tutor, advocate, and role-model.
Students meet with their “Big Brothers” or “Big Sisters” twice a week for an hour under the supervision of the teachers in charge of the program. The program has been a tremendous success in the past and we look forward to another great year!
Big Brothers and Sisters will meet from 2:00-3:00 PM every Tuesday in the library.
